POSITION TITLE: Senior Design Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

REPORTS TO: Manager of Engineering

Senior Design Engineer Job Overview:

CCS seeks an experienced, motivated, and professional Senior Design Engineer. This role involves all aspects of cooling tower design and supporting the Engineering design team, including designing FRP cooling towers using SolidWorks and reviewing designs. The ideal candidate should understand Cooling Towers and be proficient in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities:

1. Review cooling tower design requirements.
2. Communicate with customers and Technical Services to understand project requirements.
3. Deliver complete and timely drawings and reports for proposals, submittals, and projects.
4. Respond promptly to requests via phone, email, or fax.
5. Support other departments as needed.
6. Follow company policies and budgets.
7. Maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 10 years SolidWorks design experience; more experience preferred.
2. Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.
3. Strong relationship-building skills with teams, firms, and clients.
4. Track record of meeting objectives.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Good interpersonal and time-management skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
