Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Design Coordinator in Missoula, Montana to contribute to healthcare, education, and mission-critical projects across our architecture practice. You will help design and deliver spaces that enhance community well-being, collaborating with a team of architects, designers, and engineers.

You will evaluate architectural techniques, prepare construction documents, and write specifications while coordinating with owners/clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional or internship experience in architecture.
• Credentials to obtain future registration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Interest in growth opportunities and licensure.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related tools.
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply architectural techniques to construction documents.
• Perform architectural tasks with general guidance from the Project Architect or PM.
• Collaborate with owners/clients to select procedures.
• Write specifications and perform code reviews.
• Support Project Architects and team members across all design phases.
• Perform other duties as needed.
