Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Industrial Design Coordinator to contribute to the design and delivery of healthcare, civic, and research facilities. You will work with architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve design challenges with creativity and collaboration, advancing community well-being.

You’ll lead architectural details, specifications, and construction documents while mentoring teammates and maintaining quality across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field and at least 5 years' experience in details, specifications, and construction documents.
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred and registration is encouraged.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and related tools is required or strongly desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques to construction documents.
• Carry out architectural assignments with minimal instruction from Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Collaborate with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures.
• Write specifications and perform code reviews on architectural matters.
• Assist other project coordinators and technicians across all phases of the architectural process.
• Perform other duties as needed.
