Job summary

Amazon Web Services in Austin, Texas seeks a highly technical Design Portfolio Manager to evaluate cross-disciplinary design changes and manage end-to-end lifecycle across 300+ in-flight projects. You will coordinate with engineers, procurement, and finance to fund and execute design changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations or facility maintenance is required.
• Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines and design change management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex design changes across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, architectural, controls, plumbing, fire protection, and thermal systems.
• Manage portfolio of design changes across multiple in-flight projects with cost implications and timelines.
• Coordinate technical reviews with principal engineers across disciplines and present recommendations to leadership.
