Job summary

Amazon seeks a Design Portfolio Manager in the AWS Global Design Standards and Change Management group. The role focuses on Basis of Design and Programmatic Design Change Management across 300+ projects, evaluating complex changes across electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural, and other systems.

You will coordinate reviews, lead implementation plans, and present technical and financial impacts to leadership, driving efficiency and standardization across the data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, or operations experience.
• Experience coordinating across electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplines.
• Ability to present designs and risk assessments to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical design evaluation across multiple engineering disciplines and validate calculations.
• Manage portfolio of design changes across in-flight projects with due diligence and cost awareness.
• Coordinate reviews with principal engineers across mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and other disciplines.
• Develop implementation plans and track execution from approval to site deployment.
• Present recommendations to senior leadership and communicate technical risks clearly.
• Drive process improvements and standardization for design change management.
