Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly technical Design Portfolio Manager to join the Global Design Standards and Change Management (GDSCM) team. Focus on Basis of Design (BOD) and Programmatic Design Change Management (PDCM) across 300+ in-flight projects, evaluating cross-discipline design changes and coordinating reviews with principal engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a portfolio of design changes across multiple in-flight projects across electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural, and other disciplines.
• Conduct feasibility analyses, cost implications, and production readiness assessments for proposed design changes.
• Coordinate technical reviews with principal engineers across disciplines and maintain implementation plans from approval through site deployment.
• Present recommendations to senior leadership with clear articulation of technical complexity and business impact.
