Job summary

Carollo Engineers is seeking a market leader to advance collaborative delivery across the East region from the Virginia/Richmond area. The Design Build Project Manager will blend client service leadership with pursuit and project execution support for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

You will lead strategy, guide the pursuit and project teams, and strengthen industry relationships while advancing DB/P3 best practices in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project execution and marketing for water-wastewater and infrastructure.
• 5+ years of hands-on project experience with design-build and P3 delivery methods.
• Well-networked in the East region DB/P3 space with industry roles.
• Familiarity with East region regulatory environments and procurement processes.
• Strong contract negotiations experience with Owners and DB teams.
• Proven leadership with excellent communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of East Coast Collaborative Delivery strategy (Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, P3) with sales and project execution.
• Guide pursuits and project execution with the Design-Build Technical Practice team.
• Provide leadership on DB and P3 best practices for the practice.
• Participate in pre-marketing and competitive procurements with Owners and contractors.
• Cultivate regional contractor relationships and support proposal development.
• Lead risk assessment for subcontractors and sub-consultants and review commercial terms.
