Job summary

Perini Management Services Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, seeks an experienced Design-Build Project Manager to lead large-scale design-build and construction projects in Astoria, Oregon from design development through closeout.

You will manage project execution, client relationships, contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, and team leadership, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and value for our public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction and/or design-build project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects, including projects valued at $25M+.
• Federal Government project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, project controls, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, or similar software.
• Design-Build project delivery experience.
• Design phase management experience.
• PE, EIT, PMP, RA, DBIA or other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience with Marine Construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of design-build and construction projects.
• Lead architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and P&L performance.
• Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Ensure Design Development compliance with RFP requirements and applicable codes.
• Manage procurement, subcontract administration, invoicing, and project closeout.
• Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
• Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and project objectives.
• Mentor and develop project staff and junior team members.
