Fusion Recruiters is supporting a global manufacturer in its search for a Senior Quality Manager focused on Design Assurance. This role sits upstream in new-product development, partnering with engineering to identify design risks and ensure readiness for manufacturing launches.

The candidate will lead DFMEA efforts, integrate quality into product development, and drive design improvements based on field data and testing results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on DFMEA experience.
• Strong design-risk, verification or validation fundamentals.
• Technical credibility and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or facilitate DFMEA and design-risk activities.
• Integrate quality and reliability into new-product development.
• Support product verification, validation and reliability testing.
• Connect design requirements to PFMEA, control plans and launch readiness.
• Lead structured problem solving using 8D, RCCA or Six Sigma.
• Translate warranty and field-performance information into design improvements.
• Influence engineering, testing, manufacturing and other cross-functional teams.
