Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Mechanical / Processes Technical Lead for the Corpus Christi Desalination Plant to ensure seawater desalination process design, mechanical systems, and equipment selections meet performance and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Construction, Operations, and vendors to support design development, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations, delivering reliable, energy‑efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical/process engineering for water, wastewater, or desalination.
• Experience with SWRO desalination plants and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and oversight of desalination treatment processes.
• Review and approve mechanical and process engineering deliverables.
• Support engineering change evaluation and issue resolution.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
