Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based MSL/Senior MSL I to strategically support research and business objectives in a designated therapeutic area across a territory. You will be the primary scientific communicator to healthcare professionals, building relationships and delivering education on AbbVie products throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires advanced science credentials, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel up to 75%; applicable HCIR credentialing

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (PharmD/MD/DO/PhD/APP) or equivalent; doctorate preferred.
• Senior MSL I: 2+ years of relevant experience; typically 3 years of direct MSL experience.
• MSL: 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Must travel up to 75% of the time; ability to reside in territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and researchers in designated areas.
• Present scientific information about disease states, landscape, and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals.
• Support research initiatives with AbbVie R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account plans.
