Mercor is hiring experienced U.S. Dermatologists on behalf of a leading global partner focused on advancing safe, evidence-based healthcare through innovative technology. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to image-based projects that help develop and evaluate AI models for dermatology.

This is a non-clinical position with no direct patient care. You will provide clinical insight to ensure AI outputs align with real-world dermatology standards and contribute to guidelines,

Qualifications

• MD with active, unrestricted US medical license.
• 5+ years post-residency dermatology clinical experience.
• Ability to describe dermatological conditions with precise medical terminology.
• Experience with image annotation or medical education preferred.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Review high-resolution clinical images of skin lesions and identify conditions.
• Describe images with key medical attributes (color, shape, morphology, distribution).
• Assess skin health, severity, or progression from images and evaluate AI assessments.
• Write guidelines and criteria for high-quality dermatological image assessments.
• Provide clinical insight to improve model understanding and classification.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to medical and project standards.
