Job summary

Vident Asset Management seeks an experienced Trader to execute investments and support portfolio managers in achieving objectives. Expertise in derivatives trading, especially options, is preferred and you will monitor markets and optimize trading processes.

You will generate reports, manage risk, and collaborate with ETF market makers while supporting new business initiatives and urgent tasks from management. A strong background in Python and Excel is required for analysis and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of practical trading or portfolio management experience.
• Experience with domestic and international trade settlement and reconciliation.
• Options trading experience desirable.
• Fixed income trading experience desirable.
• Excellent Excel knowledge; strong Python programming.
• Attention to detail; ability to handle confidential data.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, AIM, Orion or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Trade monitoring and execution support for portfolios.
• Engage ETF market makers and manage liquidity.
• Produce regular trading and performance reports.
• Mitigate trading risk and ensure compliance.
• Support new business initiatives and process improvements.
• Address tasks assigned by manager and team leads.
