Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong derivatives accounting experience to design and build end-to-end derivatives capabilities in our platform, covering the trade and accounting lifecycle. You will translate complex derivative requirements into scalable product functionality and work with engineering, valuation, accounting and client teams.

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in derivatives accounting or related fields.
• Strong understanding of derivative instruments and their accounting treatment.
• Experience with hedge accounting under ASC 815 and/or IFRS 9.
• Ability to translate complex derivative guidance into clear product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end derivatives capabilities across trade and accounting lifecycles.
• Define accounting treatment and journal-entry logic for derivative instruments.
• Develop hedge accounting functionality including designation, documentation and testing.
• Collaborate with valuation, accounting, engineering and client-facing teams to translate requirements.
• Support downstream reporting, disclosures, audit support and controls related to derivatives.
