Job summary

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to support our client in the electric utility industry. This role focuses on post-implementation software operations and ensuring reliable performance for utility customers.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience in the electric utility space, with expertise in DNP3 and Modbus, SCADA/ADMS, DERMS, Unix/Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in the electric utility space.
• Expertise in communication protocols: DNP3 and Modbus.
• Strong understanding of SCADA/ADMS Systems.
• Experience with DERMS.
• Unix/Linux experience.
• Knowledge of any cloud provider: AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Supporting utility customers after the software has been implemented.
• Troubleshooting technical issues with SCADA and OT communication systems.
• Coordinating upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Acting as the technical liaison between the customer and our client's engineering team.
• Ensuring reliable operation of the software while delivering excellent customer service.
