MSP Communications’ The Agency at MSP seeks a Deputy Editor/Senior Content Strategist to manage a monthly banking publication and other financial services projects. You’ll lead content ideation, edit and write as needed, and coordinate with clients, freelancers, and interns. Familiarity with AP Style and SEO is essential.

Strong writing and editing skills, detail orientation, and ability to juggle multiple issues are required. This hybrid role is based in Minnesota with in-office days as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years writing/editing in a publishing or content agency setting.
• Familiar with AP Style and digital/content production workflows.
• Experience with SEO/AEO/GEO and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day publication management under the Executive Editor.
• Lead ideation for front-of-book and back-of-book content and features.
• Build assignment letters, assign to writers, and edit for voice and accuracy.
• Write articles as needed and maintain pitches database.
• Communicate with clients via email, Teams, and in person.
