Job summary

Centurum is seeking an Operations Manager (Depot) in San Diego, CA to lead and grow MRO operations within a GOCO environment. You will oversee depot repair, testing, and sustainment of communications systems, while coordinating with engineering, logistics, QA, and the government customer.

You will drive financial planning, track performance metrics, and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve readiness. A DoD background and leadership experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting communications systems, tactical radios, electronics manufacturing, depot maintenance, or MRO operations.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, projects, or operational activities.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, earned value concepts, or program financial management in a contracted environment.
• Knowledge of configuration management, quality management systems, and risk management practices.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Navy, or other Federal programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily MRO depot operations, overseeing repair, overhaul, testing, modification, and sustainment of communications systems and tactical radio platforms.
• Manage contract execution and coordinate activities across engineering, logistics, quality assurance, and customer stakeholders to meet government readiness targets and throughput metrics.
• Serve as the primary liaison to the government customer, translating operational MRO performance into actionable program reviews, status reports, and CDRLs.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce repair cycle times, and improve customer responsiveness.
• Ensure maintenance records and product configurations remain accurate, auditable, and compliant with approved technical data.
