Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of mechanical and cooling systems across multiple sites. You will own reliability of cooling infrastructure, diagnose thermal issues, and build standards and runbooks for scalable operations.

The role requires travel up to 50% and mentoring of engineers in the field. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, experience with live commissioning of cooling systems (chilled water, CDUs, direct liquid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Own field deployment and commissioning of mechanical systems in data centers.
• Commission and troubleshoot cooling systems on live infrastructure.
• Create commissioning standards and maintenance runbooks.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures under time pressure.
• Mentor mechanical engineers in the field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Bonus: PE license, direct-to-chip or liquid cooling, CMMS, and CFD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of mechanical and cooling systems across sites.
• Own reliability of cooling infrastructure across live fleet.
• Develop standards, tests, and runbooks for cooling systems.
• Serve as on-site technical authority through startup and validation.
• Enforce mechanical reliability standards across the portfolio.
