Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to integrate mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers. You will design, execute, and document tests to prove capacity, redundancy, and failure response across chillers, CDUs, liquid loops, and airside components.

You will read P&ID drawings, write test procedures from sequences of operation, and troubleshoot live systems with vendors under tight deadlines, feeding findings back to improve future site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Commission mechanical plant on mission critical facilities through integrated systems testing.
• Read P&IDs and controls drawings fluently.
• Troubleshoot live systems with vendors under deadline.
• Write test procedures from sequences of operation and verify correctness.
• Bonus: Liquid cooling and direct-to-chip systems, CxA credential, modular data centers, test and balance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers: chilled water plants, CDUs, liquid loops, and airside systems from Level 2 through Level 5.
• Write and execute test scripts to prove capacity, redundancy, and failure response, not just power on.
• Run functional and integrated systems tests with controls and electrical so the building performs as one system.
• Feed test findings back into the standard design to speed up future site commissioning.
