Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff/Principal Deployment Automation Engineer to own deployment and testing automation for large-scale, multi-node GPU clusters across Crusoe’s AI Cloud. You will own CI/CD infrastructure, enabling reliable releases across datacenters.

San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Bellevue onsite operations are mentioned. The role requires deep Linux, Kubernetes, and GPU stack experience, with emphasis on performance, scalability, and robust rollback capabilities across a growing cloud

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building automated deployment and testing for AI/cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Postgres in large-scale environments.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and related tooling.
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting for cluster-wide test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and Integration Testing Ownership: own deployment and testing automation for bare-metal, on-premise systems across Crusoe’s AI Cloud Stack.
• CI/CD Automation and Tooling: build CI/CD platforms enabling rapid test, iteration, and deployment of low-level systems.
• Multi-Node Scaling Validation: run large-scale tests across multi-node clusters to ensure scaling and stability.
• Configuration Management and Observability: maintain Linux configurations using Ansible, AWX, and related tools.
• Deployment Orchestration: coordinate canary deployments, run Blue/Green tests, and perform automatic rollbacks.
• Cluster Orchestration: develop frameworks in Python or Go to provision and stress-test multi-node environments.
• Automated Test Suites: create tests using fio, stress-ng, and iperf to ensure performance and isolation.
