NHS 24 is seeking a Senior Dental Nurse Advisor to provide clinical leadership and professional guidance within the Scottish Emergency Dental Service.

As a Senior Dental Nurse Advisor, you will play a key leadership role within the Scottish Emergency Dental Service (SEDS), providing clinical and professional leadership to Dental Nurse Advisors and Dental Hub teams across NHS 24.
Working closely with the Lead Dental Nurse and wider service management team, you will support the delivery a safe, effective and responsive national dental service. You will provide expert clinical advice, oversee service performance, support staff development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of dental services across Scotland.
You will also maintain your own clinical expertise, supporting telephone assessment and triage activity where required, particularly during periods of increased demand.
NHS 24 offers a complete benefits package, with a temporary contract on Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679* (pro rata for part-time hours). Placement on the salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.
