Job summary

Expertec Dental Laboratory is seeking a CAD/CAM Manager to oversee the digital production line from scan intake to finished parts. You will lead design, milling, 3D printing and sintering teams while setting workflows, SOPs and product standards for accuracy and consistency.

The role is hands-on and leadership-driven, with responsibility for scheduling, quality control, equipment uptime and process improvements across CAD/CAM operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dental laboratory experience, including digital CAD/CAM production.
• Experience supervising a team or leading a department.
• Familiarity with CAD software, milling and 3D printing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversees case intake from scanner portals and desktop scans; ensures accuracy before design.
• Directs CAD design for crowns, bridges, implants and restorations; sets design standards and QC checks.
• Manages CAM milling, nesting and material usage to maximize throughput and accuracy.
• Oversees 3D printing and sintering workflows; maintains equipment, post-processing and inventory.
• Develops and enforces SOPs, training, and KPIs; coordinates with other departments and vendors.
