Job summary

Expertec Dental Laboratory seeks a hands-on CAD/CAM Manager to lead the digital production line, from scanning to finished restorations. You will drive CAD design, milling, printing and sintering, set SOPs, and ensure designs meet prescriptions and quality standards.

You will supervise 2-4 technicians, manage scheduling, vendor relationships and continuous process improvements in a Westland, MI-based lab.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a digital CAD/CAM dental lab team.
• Hands-on in CAD design, milling, 3D printing and sintering.
• Strong knowledge of dental CAD/CAM workflows and QC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case intake, scanning, and digital workflow from scan to finish.
• Lead CAD design, milling, 3D printing and sintering teams and scheduling.
• Set workflows, SOPs, and product standards; ensure design meets specs.
• Monitor KPI like on-time hand-off, remake rate, and throughput.
• Coordinate with departments and manage vendor relationships.
