Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Dental Assistant: 0-2 years; Senior Dental Assistant: 3-5 years.
• Experience with patient care system.
• Familiarity with clinical care, institution, or university experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Massachusetts Dental Assistant License.
• Radiology Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist chair side with advanced, specialized clinic procedures.
• Take digital radiographs (panoramic, PAs, bitewings).
• Pour models, polish crowns/ dentures, take impressions, and temporary crowns.
• Set up and break down operatories with infection control.
• Stock and maintain cleanliness of operatories and supplies.
• Sterilize and maintain equipment per OSHA guidelines.
• Access and maintain patient electronic health records.
• Enter treatment charges into the patient care system.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
