Codman Square Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant in Boston, MA to support high-quality, patient‑centered dentistry.

You will prepare the clinic, seat patients, and assist the dentist with procedures while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires MA training credentials (OJT or formal program), BLS/CPR, radiology certification and relevant board registration when needed, with compensation reflecting experience.

Qualifications

• On-the-Job Trained (OJT) Dental Assistant in MA with supervision by a licensed dentist.
• Formally Trained FTDA: 1+ year program; CODA/NEASC or MA standards; current BLS/CPR.
• Documentation of radiology certification or equivalent; OSHA CDC guidelines.
• Massachusetts Board registration when required; 0-3 years clinical dentistry experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clinic for daily activity and stock supplies.
• Seat patient, review insurance, ensure coverage or deposits before treatment.
• Expose radiographs and check diagnostic quality of images.
• Provide active chair-side assistance and assist dentist during treatment.
• Maintain sterilization logs and central supply inventory.
