Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead technical product execution for a denim and roughwear category. You will own tech packs, fit decisions, and production readiness, collaborating with internal and external partners.

In this role you will manage tech packs in PLM, resolve technical challenges with suppliers and factories, and mentor junior team members while developing departmental standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in apparel manufacturing, design, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of garment construction, fit, patternmaking, and apparel manufacturing.
• Experience independently managing complex product categories and mentoring others.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and advanced knowledge of Gerber, PLM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; 3D technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and approve accurate tech packs in PLM.
• Lead fit, construction, specification, and product execution decisions through production approval.
• Resolve complex technical challenges with suppliers, factories, Design, and Product Management.
• Develop and maintain departmental standards, tools, and processes, and drive process improvements.
• Manage seasonal deliverables and technical milestones, and guide and support less experienced team members.
