Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support SKU-level forecasting across core, promotional, and new product launches. You will partner with Demand Planning and Merchandising to monitor trends and improve forecast accuracy in a fast-growing consumer brand environment.

The role combines data analysis, dashboard creation in Tableau/Power BI, and cross-functional collaboration to align product demand, marketing cadence, and inventory strategy for launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or digital analytics in a high-growth consumer brand or eCommerce environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Vanguard demand planning tool and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize insights from large datasets.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools (Claude, ChatGPT, perplexity, etc) and coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SKU-level demand planning across core, promotional, and newness assortments with direction from Demand Planning and Merchandising teams.
• Monitor sales trends, seasonal shifts, and launch performance to improve forecast accuracy and agility.
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze retailer and product performance trends and variances to forecast.
• Analyze retail, supply chain, and marketing data to identify demand drivers, risks, and gaps.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, forecast accuracy, and product performance.
• Conduct post-launch and promotional analyses to inform future planning strategies.
• Collaborate with operations to close inventory gaps and prepare for launches.
• Review POs, weeks of supply, and communicate risk based on sell-thru projections.
• Lead forecast-related discussions and align assumptions with product demand and marketing cadence.
