Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a demand planning professional to lead forecasting for OE customers and products. You will collect forecast submissions, review trends, and develop a consensus forecast with stakeholders to support revenue targets.

The role involves analyzing forecast performance, identifying variances, and driving cross-functional reviews to align assumptions to the demand plan. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, or related analytical role.
• Experience supporting forecast development, inventory planning, or S&OP processes in a manufacturing, distribution, or consumer product environment preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting activities for OE customers and products.
• Collect and analyze forecast submissions, review historical trends, identify key demand drivers, and develop consensus forecast with stakeholders.
• Analyze forecast performance and investigate variances between forecasted and actual demand, providing insights.
• Facilitate cross-functional consensus planning reviews to reconcile forecast deviations.
• Develop revenue projections based on demand forecasts and identify gaps or opportunities.
• Lead the monthly consensus demand review process and provide inputs for S&OP.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and error trends; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
