Job summary

PetSmart is hiring a Sr Manager, Merchandise Demand Planning & Allocation to shape inventory and demand planning strategies across the division. You will lead cross-functional teams and optimize forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and in-stock performance while aligning with financial objectives.

You will partner with Merchandising, Allocation, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive best practices, mentor the team, and deliver strategic and day-to-day leadership in a dynamic, hybrid work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a business focus.
• 7+ years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Intermediate to expert skills in Excel and replenishment systems; familiarity with SAP, Relex & JDA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, margin, and inventory KPI targets for the division.
• Lead demand planning and allocation to optimize in-stock levels and promotional performance.
• Provide strategic leadership for the Demand Planning team and partner with Merchandising, Allocation, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Lead seasonal and long-range inventory planning across vendors and merchandising segments.
• Develop execution plans aligned to corporate strategy and calendars.
• Drive decision making with cross-functional partners and vendors.
