Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Senior Planner, US Wholesale Signature, to develop item-level demand and inventory forecasts and align cross-functional partners on plans. You will own the monthly forecasting process, translate insights into action, and drive revenue, fill rate, and inventory productivity.

The role requires 3+ years in demand/merchandise/financial planning, advanced Excel, and strong analytical storytelling. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with in-office 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, financial planning, or related forecasting role.
• Strong retail math capabilities and ability to connect item-level performance to financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with complex formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and large data analysis.
• Experience using data visualization and storytelling to translate analysis into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage bottoms-up, item-level sales and inventory plans translating customer expectations into the demand forecast.
• Own the monthly forecasting process using historical performance, trends, promotions, assortment changes, pricing and inventory.
• Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Demand & Supply Planning, and Finance to align assumptions and strategies.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, sales performance, fill rate, and inventory health; conduct root-cause analysis and action recommendations.
• Lead monthly plan reviews and communicate forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and actions to leadership and partners.
• Develop scenarios and mitigation plans for changes in demand, product flow, pricing, and promotions.
• Create clear, scalable planning tools and reporting to improve visibility and team efficiency.
