The Senior Planner, US Wholesale Signature is an experienced planner and trusted business partner responsible for developing and managing the demand plan for Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. This role translates customer, product, and marketplace insights into item-level sales and inventory forecasts that support revenue, profitability, fill rate, and inventory productivity. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Demand Planning and partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Demand and Supply Planning, Finance, and external account partners to identify opportunities, surface risks, and drive aligned business decisions.

About the Job

Build and manage bottoms-up, item-level sales and inventory plans, translating customer expectations and business strategies into an actionable demand forecast. Own the monthly forecasting process, using historical performance, current trends, promotional activity, assortment changes, pricing, inventory position, and customer inputs to identify risks and growth opportunities. Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Demand and Supply Planning, and Finance to align volume assumptions, inventory investments, and seasonal strategies. Monitor forecast accuracy, sales performance, fill rate, in-stock, inventory health, and other key business drivers; conduct root-cause analysis and recommend actions to improve results. Lead monthly plan reviews and communicate forecast changes, risks, opportunities, assumptions, and recommended actions to leadership and cross-functional partners. Develop scenarios and mitigation plans for changes in customer demand, product flow, pricing, promotions, supply availability, and account milestones. Support external seasonal and go-to-market processes, including assortment planning, projections, customer commitments, promotional events, and key financial milestones. Create clear, scalable planning tools and reporting that improve visibility and team efficiency. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, serving as a trusted planning resource who can support the plan position with fact-based insights.

About You

Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum 3+ years of experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, financial planning, or a related forecasting role, ideally within retail, wholesale, apparel, or consumer products. Innately curious with strong thinking skills and a desire to understand the \"why\" behind business performance. You challenge assumptions, identify root causes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Strong retail math capabilities, with the ability to connect item-level performance to broader financial and inventory outcomes. Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and the analysis of large datasets. Experience using data visualization and storytelling to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations. You articulate planning assumptions, challenge inputs constructively, and build alignment across teams.
