Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Lead Demand Planner to drive an accurate, actionable demand plan for our Consumer business. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Planning to translate market insights into the forecast and lead continuous improvement across the planning team.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, advanced analytics, and the ability to influence decisions with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Experience with advanced planning systems and forecasting tools.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy, bias, and Forecast Value Add.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain assumptions, risks, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enrichment of the demand forecast across assigned products and channels.
• Analyze statistical forecasts, historical performance, customer demand signals, promotions, product changes, and market trends to develop a well supported demand outlook.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and Forecast Value Add to identify opportunities to improve planning performance.
• Partner with Sales on sell in expectations, promotions, product launches, and changes in customer or channel demand, consistent with the current Demand Planning approach.
• Work closely with Supply Planning and other partners to identify demand and supply risks and communicate business implications.
