Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR is seeking a Demand Forecast Analyst to create future demand forecasts through market analysis, statistical modeling, and collaboration across the Planning organization. You will manage the rolling 27‑month, item‑level forecast, review algorithms in Manugistics and SAP IBP, and lead monthly Demand meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

The position requires a BS/BA and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with statistical algorithms (e.g., Fourier, MLR).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Manugistics and SAP IBP in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the rolling 27‑month, item‑level demand forecast for an assigned business within Manugistics and SAP IBP.
• Review and maintain statistical algorithms and adjust historical patterns and future projections.
• Maintain weekly item‑level Forecast Accuracy results and support related metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to understand factors impacting the forecast (merchandising, promotions, seasonality, pricing, distribution).
• Facilitate monthly Demand meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain partners.
• Execute daily analysis and reporting on demand performance and provide intelligence on history, trends, and future assumptions.
• Act as Demand S&OP process champion in cross‑functional meetings to drive process adherence and maturity.
