Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead Planner to oversee and support the Demand Planning staff, analyzing usage trends to forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels.

You will support clients by forecasting and planning to meet service levels, while collaborating across the supply chain network. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and at least 4 years of complex planning experience; a Master’s degree and leadership experience in planning are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience with complex planning activities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement forecasting and inventory management policies.
• Act as demand planning liaison to internal and external customers.
• Research data, draw insights, and forecast demand and inventory needs.
• Lead planning projects to improve department performance.
• Provide planning support for cross-functional teams as a SME for forecasting and inventory planning.
• Develop KPIs and forecasting measures to deliver reliable results for clients.
• Identify demand forecast risks and mitigate them.
• Review forecasts and orders with customers; plan inventory to meet demand.
• Seek opportunities to reduce costs and optimize planning outputs.
