Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join our high‑impact Demand Planning team. You will model demand plans for our robotics portfolio, ensuring product availability and optimal inventory levels.

You will translate customer signals, product lifecycles, and engineering changes into actionable plans, partnering with Sales, Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align forecasts and proactively manage risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
8+ years of hands‑on demand planning and data analytics experience (or 5+ years with a relevant Masters).
Experience with ERP systems (Rootstock preferred) and Tableau data visualization.
Strong problem solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and data governance skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage the Sales Demand Planning lifecycle and protect service levels and revenue targets.
Lead cross‑functional forecasting reviews with Sales, Service, Production, Purchasing and Fulfillment.
Own the demand consolidation process and loading into ERP.
Define and manage safety stock to balance inventory and availability.
Maintain ERP data integrity and SOPs for planning activities.
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations on product lifecycle and EOL.
Audit forecasts and inventory signals to challenge weak assumptions.
Design and maintain Tableau dashboards for demand planning improvements.
