Job summary

LHH in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead market demand planning and IBP processes across North America.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning to develop forecasts, manage planning cycles, and drive continuous improvement, with domestic and international travel of 5–15%. Strong SAP IBP experience and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning.
• Experience with S&OP and IBP processes; SAP IBP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the North American demand plan across multiple planning horizons.
• Develop baseline forecasts using historical sales, customer trends, and market intelligence.
• Lead weekly and monthly IBP/S&OP planning discussions with key stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales to align demand plans at the customer level.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to evaluate constraints and their impact on sales and inventory.
• Own demand-planning master data within SAP IBP.
• Monitor forecast performance and drive corrective actions for improvement.
• Ensure market planning submissions meet global IBP requirements.
• Communicate forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and supply implications to leaders.
• Serve as a liaison between North American stakeholders and global planning teams.

Job description

We are partnering with an established global organization seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manage to lead market demand planning and help drive the weekly and monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional opportunity for a planning professional who can combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial insight. You will partner closely with Sales, Supply Planning, Finance, and global planning teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, manage planning cycles, identify risks and opportunities, and continuously improve planning performance.

What You’ll Do

• Own and maintain the North American demand plan across multiple planning horizons
• Develop baseline forecasts using historical sales, customer trends, market intelligence, promotions, and commercial insights
• Lead weekly and monthly IBP/S&OP planning discussions with key stakeholders
• Partner with Sales to align demand plans at the customer level
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to evaluate constraints and their impact on sales and inventory
• Own demand-planning master data within SAP IBP
• Monitor forecast performance, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Ensure market planning submissions meet global IBP requirements
• Communicate forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and supply implications to business leaders
• Serve as a key liaison between North American stakeholders and global planning teams

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Approximately 8+ years of experience within supply chain planning
• Strong demand-planning and forecasting expertise
• Hands-on experience with S&OP and/or IBP processes
• Experience with end-to-end planning systems; SAP IBP experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced ability to partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and senior stakeholders
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and general business systems proficiency
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 5–15%, including occasional trips of one to two weeks
