HBK Engineering, LLC is searching for a Senior Deltek VantagePoint System Administrator. We are looking for an experienced Senior Deltek VantagePoint System Administrator who will have administrative responsibility for our enterprise resource planning software (ERP), Deltek VantagePoint and for promoting best-in-class business system improvements to support compliance and growth initiatives. This position is critical to support HBK’s finance and IT teams and will lead implementation efforts. This role will be the primary liaison between accounting, contracts, billing, finance and cross-functional stakeholders on financial system projects.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. Manage day-to-day access and process controls and end user support.
2. Responsible for reconfiguring reporting functionality as needed and proposing changes to make platform more effective and user friendly (forms, web parts, and application technologies, etc.).
3. Have oversight for the overall technical health of the Deltek Cloud ERP system.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve Deltek application usage issues, with focus on Project, Billing & Enterprise Reporting Modules.
5. Develop dashboarding capabilities.
6. Design and deliver reusable and ad-hoc reports.
7. Provide guidance, training, and support on core functionality.
8. Make recommendations for enhanced reporting, data management and to improve operational agility and efficiency.
9. Lead the evaluation, escalation, and resolution of defects with system.
10. Research, gather and analyze information then formulate effective recommendations and actions.
11. Interact with senior leadership, finance team and end users to understand business requirements and contribute creative ideas and enhancements to the platform.
12. Act as main point of contact to consultants and vendors supporting the system by updating helpdesk tickets and escalating issues to vendor support as needed.
13. Monitor ticket queue and support Deltek applications related user access requests, changes, and issues. Facilitate system change requests.
14. Acquire and maintain knowledge of core business processes.
15. Participate in the planning, designing, documenting, implementing, testing and support of business systems/applications.
16. Promote compliance with Financial Accounting Policies and Processes when processing requests.
17. Support new initiatives and other IT related projects and tasks, providing opportunities to expand responsibilities and skillset; Important to be flexible and willing to learn/perform other IT administration tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years experience as an IT System Administrator working with an ERP system (with at least 3 years working in Deltek).
2. Thorough knowledge of Deltek applications.
3. Experience working on cross functional teams, interacting with multiple stakeholders in the organization (IT, Operations, Finance, Legal/Contracts).
4. Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
5. Proven time-management skills and attention to detail.
6. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
7. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
8. Demonstrated strong understanding of engineering contract types (fixed price, T&M, Cost Type).

Pay range: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and the potential to participate in our discretionary annual incentive bonus program.
