Job summary

Infotek Consulting is seeking a Senior Business Systems Consultant to provide advanced technical assistance for Deltek applications (Costpoint, Vision, Time & Expense, GovWin) across hosted, on‑premise, and cloud environments. You will respond to escalations and drive issues to resolution while keeping clients informed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on technical experience supporting an enterprise ERP, including troubleshooting, maintenance, patching and hotfixes.
• Direct Deltek applications experience (Costpoint, Time & Expense, GovWin) strongly preferred; deep familiarity with Costpoint data model may substitute for lifecycle experience.
• Strong SQL skills with practical experience writing and tuning queries, views, and stored procedures against a major RDBMS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of IBM Cognos BI or Cognos Analytics.
• Experience with Active Directory administration and Windows environments.
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends for maintenance windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to Deltek applications suite across multiple environments.
• Act as point of escalation for first-tier support.
• Apply updates, hot-fixes and patching to resolve issues or perform routine maintenance.
• Support client upgrades, environment refreshes, and cloud/hosted migrations with validation of reporting and integrations.
• Open and manage cases with Deltek Support, own the diagnostics, drive progress, and keep the client updated.
• Respond to customer queries by phone, email, or screen share; walk the customer through problem solving.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
• Troubleshoot at the database and application layers with SQL tuning.
• Support Cognos reporting: dashboards, Framework Manager, data module maintenance, and security.
• Maintain 3rd-party application support (e.g., Unanet, IBM Cognos, TM1).
• Assist with documentation for clients and train customer users.
• Must be willing to work nights/weekends around maintenance windows.
