Job summary

Itron is seeking a strategic Head of Implementation in Chicago to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering software solutions for utilities and cities. You will guide design, planning, testing, deployment, adoption, and value realization across customer engagements, partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
10+ years of experience in software implementation, professional services, consulting, solution architecture, project delivery, enterprise software, or technology services.
Proven experience leading cross-functional, customer-facing delivery teams.
Experience overseeing end-to-end customer implementations across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary implementation and delivery team including Solution Architects, Project Managers, Testing and Training Specialists.
Provide strategic leadership across the full customer implementation lifecycle from design to value realization.
Ensure delivery aligns with customer goals, contracts, budgets, and timelines.
Advise customers on implementation strategies, change management, and business process transformation.
Oversee complex software implementations and system integrations within utility/energy environments.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Support to ensure customer outcomes.
Set delivery priorities, allocate resources, and optimize capacity across engagements.
Drive continuous improvement in methodologies, testing, deployment, and operations.
