Job description

Silex is seeking a Senior Delivery Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-grade Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) platform. This role will be responsible for architecting scalable solutions, leading technical discussions, and ensuring successful platform delivery while adhering to enterprise security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead technical architecture design and implementation for enterprise RAG platform
2. Drive infrastructure decisions and implementation using AWS and OpenShift
3. Design and implement API gateway solutions using Kong
4. Establish security controls and compliance measures
5. Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
6. Lead technical workshops and stakeholder discussions
7. Mentor team members and provide technical leadership
8. Design monitoring and observability solutions
9. Develop technical documentation and architectural guidelines

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 8+ years of experience in software/platform architecture
2. Strong experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift administration
3. Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
4. Experience with API gateway implementation (Kong preferred)
5. Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
6. Strong background in security architecture and best practices
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
8. Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions
9. Strong communication and leadership skills
10. Experience leading technical workshops and stakeholder discussions

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with AI/ML platforms or solutions
2. Knowledge of vector databases and RAG architectures
3. Previous experience with enterprise-scale platforms
4. Relevant AWS certifications
5. Experience with PII handling and compliance requirements
6. Background in financial or healthcare sectors

Location:

Remote with occasional in-person meeting. May need to be onsite for the first few weeks of the engagement (Nashville, TN).
