Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Bakery Deli Sales Manager to represent AWG to our membership and lead the sales and merchandising of deli/bakery products at the divisional level. You will educate retailers on AWG programs, drive same-store sales, and coordinate all staffing, events and promotions to maximize profitability.

The role requires managing staff, vendor relationships, and collaborating with departments to implement merchandising and sales strategies that align with AWG’s

Qualifications

• Retail grocery store experience preferred.
• Management experience in bakery/deli.
• Ability to read and write routines reports and present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and loyalty with Deli/Bakery members.
• Coordinate all sales events and staffing activities.
• Direct and train staff with quarterly progress updates.
• Monitor division expenses to maintain profitability.
• Collaborate with Member Services, Procurement, Warehousing and Marketing on deli/bakery sales.
