Job summary

Paligen Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex defense programs from inception to completion. The role requires a strong background in defense-oriented program management, with a proven history of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, report to senior leadership, and represent Paligen in interactions with customers and government officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of program management experience in the defense industry.
• Knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, and FAR requirements.
• Experience managing large programs with budgets >$100M.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM tools (ERP, Visio, Project).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex defense programs.
• Manage stakeholders; serve as primary program contact.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and finance.
• Develop and manage program budgets and forecasts; monitor expenses.
• Identify and mitigate risks; ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Prepare regular program status reports and maintain documentation.
