Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Sr Program Manager to lead end-to-end defense production programs with a focus on material sourcing, supply chain, and regulatory compliance. The role is hybrid, with regular on-site work in Franklin, MA or Lorton, VA, and travel up to 25%.

You will oversee scope, schedule, and cost, build IMS/WBS, manage budgets, and coordinate with government, primes, and suppliers to meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project/program lead experience with defense customers.
• PMP, EVMS, CAM, CSCP, APICS, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR; risk management and cost control techniques.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint or similar ERP systems; Jira, Windchill, etc.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables for multi-phase defense programs; align with requirements.
• Develop program plans including WBS and IMS; manage schedule and budgets; report ETC.
• Develop a Material Program Plan (MPP) in coordination with quality, scheduling, and supply chain teams.
• Evaluate suppliers, conduct total cost of ownership analyses, and monitor delivery.
• Coordinate resources and ensure on-time, in-scope, within-budget delivery.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS/ITAR and defense security protocols; identify and mitigate risks.
• Prepare progress and issue reports for government agencies, primes, and suppliers.
