Job summary

Lyntris is a defense technology company delivering sensing-to-action solutions for the connected battlespace. We seek a Senior Network Engineer to strengthen C4ISR networking for FMS programs, with leadership on complex networks and up to 25% travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Cisco expertise, VMware experience, and a strong background in security integration and documentation. U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Network Engineering experience in defense/cyber/airgap environments.
• Proficient with Cisco switches, routers and firewalls in complex networks.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN/mGRE.
• Experience with network performance/load testing tools (Spirent, T-Berd).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve data center networking problems.
• Experience documenting Network Designs and Schematics.
• Experience performing site surveys/PITCO evaluations on equipment and SOVts.
• Systems administration experience across multiple operating systems; familiarity with VMware.
• Experience with COMSEC and security hardening.
• Ability to create training documents for operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with US Government network engineers and Cyber/IA teams on network setup and configuration.
• Analyze and administer LAN/WAN architectures and improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and isolate root causes to restore services.
• Develop, integrate, and test Cisco products in a network sandbox.
• Design and implement complex networking solutions and protocols.
• Evaluate security products and integrate management/monitoring platforms.
• Support C4ISR networking upgrades and deployments as SME.
• Coordinate networking work assignments and distribute tasks among engineers.
