Job summary

Orion Placement in Reno, Nevada is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to join a nationally respected defense team. Lead complex civil defense matters with significant trial responsibility, collaborate with top trial attorneys, and take ownership from inception through trial with meaningful client interaction.

Qualified candidates will have a JD, Nevada bar, 4+ years in litigation, and strong skills in writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Nevada State Bar membership required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada and federal procedures.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation from inception through trial.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout all phases.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Deliver outstanding client service while managing multiple active matters.
