Pacific Air Forces in Alaska seeks a senior attorney to support the Staff Judge Advocate, providing legal advice on complex installation-level matters across administrative, environmental, contract, labor, international, and operations law for the 673 ABW and tenant units.

You will advise commanders and managers, prepare for and represent AF interests in hearings and negotiations, and offer legal assistance to active duty personnel, dependents, DoD civilians, retirees, and other eligible

Qualifications

Must have ABA-accredited law degree (JD/LLB).
Active bar status in a State, US territory, DC, or commonwealth, dated within four months of application.
Professional legal experience in excess of two years.

Responsabilités

Advise the 673d Air Base Wing Commander and subordinate/tenant unit leaders on general law matters.
Prepare for and represent AF interests in correspondence, meetings, negotiations, and hearings at federal, state, local, and overseas levels.
Provide legal assistance to active duty, dependents, eligible DoD civilians, retirees, and other DoD cardholders, in accordance with AFIs and legal office policy.
