Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research is desired.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience is desired.
• Experience with ACE-IT cost modeling and US Army acquisition processes is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct independent cost analysis for the assigned program ensuring technical appropriateness, soundness, and accurate interpretation of results with regard to cost and budget.
• Forecast the future costs of systems, projects/programs, resources, to support independent studies, funding decisions, and various management reviews.
• Create and maintain lifecycle cost estimates in ACE-IT.
• Develop cost estimating methodologies based on available data sources.
• Provide expert analyses and budgetary guidance regarding resource allocations and plans to defend budget activities.
• Conduct analysis and provide recommendations using mathematics, statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, regression analysis, and economic analysis.
• Coordinate with PAE FIRES and PM IFMC Program Office Estimates for APBs and other milestone documentation.
• Create documents and briefing charts communicating current status and forecast on program cost.
• Receive and analyze Earned Value Management reports and make recommendations to Product Manager based on analysis.
