Job summary

Textron in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Supply Chain Contracts Senior Professional with USG/military contracting experience. You will establish long-term procurement contracts, work with cross-functional teams, and lead negotiations to meet program objectives.

You will evaluate suppliers, develop strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving value for the supply chain and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
• Experience with DOD / USG Procurement Contracts for military/defense industry strategic sourcing OR negotiating procurement contracts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suppliers for strategic purchasing contracts; prepare and issue RFPs.
• Facilitate bid evaluation and down-selection.
• Prepare negotiation strategies and conduct contract negotiations.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet internal objectives.
• Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations.
