Twenty‑Six Defense Maritime, a Twenty‑Six Defense company, is a world leader in the design, development, testing and production of complex electromechanical systems and sensors, including Sparton sonobuoys. The Senior Buyer (III) manages specialized procurement activities for a high‑volume defense manufacturing environment, adhering to FAR/DFARS and corporate policies.

This hybrid role requires on‑site and remote work with on‑site days varying by business needs; travel to suppliers is required.

Qualificações

• 4+ years’ purchasing or subcontracting experience with a U.S. Government military subcontractor (CPSR).
• 4+ years’ FAR/DFAR regulated purchasing or subcontract experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP; Word; PowerPoint) and MRP/ERP systems.
• Demonstrate experience and success in negotiation skills and strategies.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and contract requirements.
• Develop government proposals and BOEs of moderate complexity.
• Lead and train junior teammates.
• Create and manage statements of work, solicitations, and RFPs; analyze proposals and negotiate terms.
• Manage post-purchase orders for quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Contracts, and Program Office.
