Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen 18+.
• TWIC with at least ten months remaining.
• USCG MMC with expiration date in ten months or more.
• USCG license endorsed as Chief Mate or Master; STCW CAPACITY as Chief Mate or Master.
• GMDSS Radio Operator license/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deck department operations, safety, and efficiency onboard.
• Supervise crew, manage overtime, and enforce hygiene and grooming standards.
• Maintain shipboard safety, training, and security programs.
• Coordinate with Master, Chief Engineer, and shore support for repairs and compliance.
• Perform duties as required by the Station Bill and SRF/chiefs.
